Shanghai Qinye Metallurgy Engineering Technology Ltd has completed a cold rolling, galvanizing, and annealing project in Algeria. The project, located in Algeria, involved the production of 400,000 tons of cold rolled sheet steel. The specifications of the steel produced were 0.18-1.5mm in thickness and 850-1250mm in width.
The project involved the installation of two sets of reversing 6-high rolling mills, one set of pickling train, one set of hot galvanizing line, two sets of color coating line, twenty sets of bell-type furnace, one set of electrolyze degreasing line, one set of temper mill, and one set of withdraw and straightening machine. The equipment was designed and installed to produce high-quality cold rolled sheet steel that meets international standards.
The completion of this project has contributed to the development of the Algerian steel industry and has increased the local production capacity of cold rolled sheet steel.
